About Our Center

Families seeking autism care in New York can find high-quality, compassionate therapy at Applied ABC’s autism therapy center in The Bronx. No matter where your child is along their journey, our professional staff are there to help guide them through obstacles and achievements, providing a helping hand at every step.

Full-Day Services

We offer full day services in 8-hour windows scheduled between 8:00 AM–6:00 PM.

Partial-Day Services

For families who don’t need full-day services, we also offer shorter sessions anytime between 9:00 AM–6:00 PM.

Afterschool Program

Between 1:30 PM–7:00 PM, children are invited to our Afterschool Program for story reading, group dancing exercises, games, science experiments, and other ABA activities.

Summer Program

In the Summer months, Applied ABC’s Summer Program offers themed therapy, games, and events every week Monday–Saturday during normal center hours.

In-Center Social Skills Groups

Center-Based Social Skill Groups with Applied ABC help children with autism make new friends while advancing their social and interpersonal skills.

In New York, We Accept The Following Insurance Providers:

*Single-Case Agreements may be possible for families who do not have insurance coverage through one of the listed insurance providers.

Center Director

Meet Yvonne

Yvonne Douek, our dedicated Center Director, has over 11 years of expertise in ABA therapy and is Certified in ADOS-2. Yvonne has a wealth of experience supporting children in various settings, including homes, clinics, and IEP classrooms within mainstream schools.



Yvonne’s compassion and dedication to supporting children with autism and their parents is driven by her own personal and professional experiences, where she witnessed the transformation of countless families through ABA therapy. She strives to promote staff skill development through supportive guidance and training. Yvonne is committed to ensuring the Bronx Center is a nurturing and collaborative environment that families can count on.

Dalajia Cooks

Center Services Coordinator

Meet Dalajia

With a distinguished Bachelor’s Degree in Health Science and Sociology, coupled with credentials as a Registered Behavior Technician, Dalajia Cooks brings a depth of expertise that is both comprehensive and profound. Through her diverse background and multifaceted experience across various roles, she has honed a distinct specialization in ABA therapy.



As the Bronx Center Services Coordinator, Dalajia orchestrates more than just programs; she creates transformative environments where individuals grappling with mental health challenges find not just solace, but genuine support and empowerment. With over twelve years of tenure as an analyst, she is celebrated for her innovative problem-solving prowess and her innate ability to forge meaningful connections across diverse settings.
