Where do you call home?
I live in Bethlehem, Georgia. I was born and raised in Central Africa and moved to the United States when I was 15.
How many years have you worked in the ABA field?
Before I became an RBT, I was a preschool teacher for seven years. Then, I decided I wanted to work with children one-on-one. A coworker told me about ABA therapy, and I decided to give it a try. I have been an RBT now for a year and two months.
How did you end up working for Applied ABC?
I heard about ABA therapy from a coworker named Joy Ramirez, who already worked at Applied ABC.
What’s the most fulfilling part of your work?
The most fulfilling part of my work is seeing the smile on a client’s face. It is also rewarding to see them accomplish their goals.
How do you unwind after a long day?
I unwind after a long day by spending time with my family and reading books.
What are some interesting facts about you?
I have been married for 17 years and have three children. I’m half-Congolese and French. I speak five languages. My husband is Puerto Rican Dominican. I play field hockey, cricket, and soccer.
