Social Skills Groups

Improving communication and socialization
through group therapy.

What are Social Skills Groups?

Social Skills Groups (also known as SSGs) are small gatherings led by a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) or an ABA therapist. SSGs give children an opportunity to focus on specific, personalized goals while playing team games and participating in group activities — improving social skills, emotional intelligence, and self-confidence.

Near Or Far, We’re There For You

Center-based SSGs

We are proud to host Social Skills Groups at our various ABA centers across multiple states. Explore our list of centers to see if there's one near you.

SSG Online

Embracing the digital age, our Virtual SSGs offer a unique and interactive experience for children aged 7-11. Held biweekly, these sessions provide a consistent and familiar environment where your child meets the same group of peers each time — a setting ideal for building deeper connections and friendships.

During these virtual gatherings, your child will be immersed in a variety of activities and engaging learning games. The atmosphere is relaxed and spontaneous, yet thoughtfully crafted to foster both fun and growth — often leading to friendships that extend beyond the sessions.

How Do SSGs Help My Child?

Once your child is already receiving one-on-one ABA therapy, SSGs provide a further opportunity to socialize and form friendships with others. SSGs can help your child:

Improve social and communication skills

Build self-confidence and problem-solving skills

Achieve social interaction and playtime goals

Practice ABA skills in a real-life setting

What Happens At A Typical SSG?
