1. Where do you call home?
I live in a small town in New Hampshire. I was born and raised there, and it is my favorite place! My favorite thing to do in my town is to walk on the trails. There are trails all around, and they lead to hidden gems.
2. How many years have you worked in the ABA field?
I started doing ABA work in a school district in 2019. It easily became my passion. I soon found myself working for Applied ABC and applying ABA every day.
3. How did you end up working for Applied ABC?
I found a job with Applied ABC while searching for a place to advance my skills as a BT. Applied ABC has not only advanced my skills, but they also have helped me further my career!
4. What’s the most fulfilling part of your work?
The most fulfilling part of my work is seeing the progress a client makes over time. I love seeing the smiles beaming off their face because they are learning communication, and the gratitude, I receive from parents is amazing. I enjoy helping my clients advance their skills and helping caregivers implement skills within their daily lives.
5. How do you unwind after a long day?
After a long day, I like to go to my kid’s baseball practices and games. I have four children and they all love to play ball. We spend a lot of time at the field. In the winter, we spend our time at the batting cage to keep their skills sharp.
6. What are some interesting facts about you?
I own my own t-shirt business! I started an online store with the help of my husband and children. We provide funny graphic t-shirts to our community. We have become very popular and now receive invitations from festivals to have a pop-up to sell our shirts. The coolest event we have been a vendor at was for my son’s favorite band, Recycled Percussion; It was such an incredible experience!
