Applied ABC is an autism therapy agency that specializes in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy. At Applied ABC, we believe we can help every child with autism reach their full potential. Applied ABC is guided by a few key principles that make a significant difference in the lives of children with autism and their families.
Applied ABC Is Run by a Clinician, Not Private Equity
Unlike most ABA therapy companies in the United States, Applied ABC is run by a clinician with years of hands-on autism therapy experience who is sensitive to the highly personalized needs of each child with autism. In fact, all our leaders make business decisions based on what’s best for the children and families we work with. We never, ever cut corners or take shortcuts for the sake of growth or profit.
Applied ABC Focuses on Families
In the early days of autism treatment, ABA therapy happened almost exclusively in clinics and autism treatment centers. Autism centers are a fantastic asset for children with autism, their families, and their community. However, if a child’s entire autism treatment program happens in a center, it creates a disconnect between what they’re learning and their home life. Once a child ages out of ABA therapy or completes treatment for another reason, the parents must be prepared to understand their child’s condition and ongoing needs.
Applied ABC started as a home-based autism therapy company so we could provide support and education to children with autism and their families. We’ve expanded our approach to include schools and autism treatment centers, but our flagship offering is excellent home-based autism therapy—including parent training. The best therapist in the world cannot replace a loving, compassionate, actively engaged parent. We are unwaveringly dedicated to an autism treatment framework that includes the parents in what we’re doing so they feel empowered to care for their children and teach them important skills on their own.
Applied ABC Offers Support to Our ABA Therapists
Working with children with autism can be both deeply rewarding and incredibly challenging—often on the same day. For board-certified behavior analysts (BCBAs) and registered behavior technicians (RBTs), navigating the ups and downs can be intense.
Applied ABC is dedicated to ensuring that our ABA therapy professionals feel fully supported at all times so that they can do their best work. Our BCBAs and RBTs can turn to senior-level BCBAs for support and guidance on challenging cases, and our administrative team constantly strives to streamline processes to keep things running smoothly. As a result, the children we support are always getting the best possible care from confident, compassionate professionals and a dedicated team.
Applied ABC Offers Flexible Autism Treatment Options
Intensity is key to a successful ABA treatment program. Children with autism may receive 10 to 40 hours of ABA therapy per week, for months or years This time commitment can be challenging to integrate into a family’s busy schedule. A parent or guardian is required to be at home with the child during home-based ABA therapy. For single parents and many other families, finding childcare for all those hours is not always easy.
Applied ABC offers flexible scheduling and location options so families can find a rhythm that works for them. We can design an autism treatment plan that blends home-based autism therapy with treatment at an autism center depending on what works best for each family. In some cases, we can also offer ABA therapy at school, though this differs between states and school districts. Additionally, Applied ABC can schedule ABA therapy outside of working and school hours.
Applied ABC is the largest, fastest-growing, clinician-owned ABA therapy company in the United States. We are committed to offering a wide variety of autism treatment options so that every child with autism can receive ABA therapy. To learn more, get in touch with our team >
