Where do you call home?
I’ve always called Georgia my home and feel fortunate that I get to stay right where the Applied ABC autism center is located, in Lawrenceville, Georgia.
How many years have you worked in the ABA field?
I’ve been working in the ABA field since 2019; being an RBT is so rewarding, and I love the direct impact I can make in the lives of children with autism.
How did you end up working for Applied ABC?
I knew that I wanted to do something part-time that would give me the chance to help kids with ASD. At the time, I was a student and had a busy schedule; Applied ABC gave me the flexibility I needed to gain experience in the field and focus on my education.
What’s the most fulfilling part of your work?
I really enjoy seeing clients practice coping strategies, using functional communication to express their needs, and improving their social skills and behaviors while receiving ABA therapy.
How do you unwind after a long day?
I like to work out at the gym, walk my dog, listen to music, and watch YouTube videos/TikTok.
What are some interesting facts about you?
I’ve donated my hair twice to an organization called Locks of Love which makes wigs for children with cancer. I also have a two-year-old dog named Nairobi, and I absolutely love to travel.
