Employee Spotlight

Employee Spotlight: Jennifer Jimenez, Lead RBT

Where do you call home?

I was born in Atlanta and raised in Lawrenceville most of my life where I now work with Applied ABC.

How many years have you worked in the ABA field?

I have been working in the ABA field for a year and working as special education educator for five years.

How did you end up working for Applied ABC?

During my graduate studies, I was awarded the Behavioral Early Education Scholars scholarship, which introduced me to the field of Applied Behavior Analysis and set me on the path to becoming a BCBA. After completing my master’s degree, I became a registered behavior therapist with Applied ABC to gain clinical experience while working toward my BCBA credential.

What’s the most fulfilling part of your work?

The most rewarding aspect of working in ABA is receiving positive feedback from families and having a meaningful impact on their lives. I love to see my client’s caregivers happy about their growth!

How do you unwind after a long day?

My favorite way to unwind is to go on walks with my dog, spend time with my loved ones and watch movies.

I had my son on New Year’s Day and our family was featured in the Gwinnett Post for Gwinnett’s First Babies of 2017.
